Introduction​

Many have asked the reason for these anthologies. It's simple, too many LGBTQIA+ persons are told that they are going to hell. The people condemning them did not create the place nor the Earth. The suicide rate among BIPOC children and adults is staggering. In an attempt to combat this, I am hoping you will share your experiences with us for publication.

 

I was born and raised within the Missionary Baptist faith. When my family found out that I was a same gendered loving person, I became an automatic candidate for hell's gate and a pariah. That hurt, what hurt worse was being told that God doesn't love me simply because of who I love. I read the Bible cover to cover. Searched for books to assist me in my search for the truth and did not find any.

I want to change that with these anthologies. I would like for people to read your experience and how either you overcame or learned to love yourself in spite of the hate and judgement.  I would like for you to share your experiences with love and radical acceptance.
